Born in a barn

“Born in a Barn”

There once was a girl who liked stuff, lots of stuff, cook junk, antiques and most of all people. She really liked sharing her stuff, cool junk, antiques and her people with other people. So she decided to host a party out at her place on Highway 14 and she calls it Born in a Barn. It started small and year by year it got bigger and bigger, now tons of stuff, cook junk, antiques and people show up every year the second week end of September at her place on Highway 14. So this year she decides to build a great big barn to give shelter to all of the stuff, cool junk, antiques and people. And it is a beautiful work of art, made from salvaged tin, an old barn that fell down and other cool junk. There was just one problem, a large white, white, white new garage door at the back of the barn that the girl never really saw but it bothered other people. So this is how it started……”You are going to paint that door on the back of the barn? The big white one? That totally doesn’t fit in?” Heck ya, I’m gonna paint it………..but what would be fitting? Then everyone started posting about 4th of July, and Brady Mclean did a photo shoot with a flag, and then I looked at these gorgeous Old Gringo’s that I bought from Twisted Hearts, and THEN I realized that my red paint color ‘Love Junkie’ was the exact red as my boots!! So yesterday, my friend and co-worker, Laurel Fosnight came out and we took that boot right to the paint store for a color match (it was the first boot they had ever color matched). And we got the ladder out and Laurel went to work. The girl thinks it is perfect for the barn named Darling at Born in a Barn in Sheridan, Wyoming.
