Beers for a Cause: Antelope Butte Foundation Pint Night at Black Tooth Brewing Company this Tuesday, May 12
This Tuesday, Antelope Butte Foundation (ABF) will be hosting a pint night at the Black Tooth Brewing Company in downtown Sheridan, beginning at 6 pm. $1 of each pint sold will go towards reopening the ski area. The Instagators will be performing live and Food Dynamics will be providing the grub.
Since 2010, ABF has been working towards reopening our beloved ski area in the Big Horns. ABF has made great progress including securing a non-profit status, completing an appraisal which sets the purchase price, hiring its first two full time employees and is about to enter into a purchase and sale agreement to acquire the assets.
Antelope Butte operated for 44 years until it abruptly closed in 2004. The ski area was the source of many memories for multiple generations. Thanks to community support in both Sheridan and Big Horn Counties, ABF will continue its mission to provide affordable, accessible skiing, mountain recreation and related training for all, especially youth and beginners.
