Cloudy With A Chance of Autumn

What an absolutely incredible fall we’re enjoying in Sheridan County.

That early September storm frosted a few trees prematurely, but those leaves left lingering on the limbs have gracefully changed their colors over the last month, providing a dazzling kaleidoscope of autumn hues that makes one appreciate living in a landscape that truly moves its way through four seasons (albeit, some shorter than others).

Of course, following fall is Wyoming winter, and yesterday the weather teased a bit at what’s to come. But what a gorgeous day, particularly when captured and time-lapsed. Click on the video to see snippets of the storm as viewed from the downtown parking garage, the elk pasture and just south of the airport.
