Dementia is a pervsaive mental illness that has probably affected you in some capacity or another. The good news is that you can do something about it today. The Center for a Vital Community will be hosting an Action Forum (tonight) on Wednesday, November 4th from 6:30-8:30 at the YMCA to announce what we can do to create a Dementia Friendly Community. Over 70 people participated in the five-week Study Circles around that subject. These community conversations concluded with several exciting initiatives which will be revealed at the meeting. Everyone is invited and refreshments will be served.
