Fly Shop of the Bighorns Wyo Spring Tying Clave

~CONTENT POWERED BY THE MONTGOMERY~

Quick! What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when we say fly-tying? Some kind of really small, insect rodeo? Because, come to think of it, that’s actually a good idea. That idea’s trademarked now, though. So don’t go getting any ideas. Anyhow, what should come to mind is a smorgasbord (from the German root smorg, or “fishy fish”) of tying demos that will be held April 9 and 10 at the Fly Shop of the Big Horns from 9 am- 3 pm. Admission is free except for the tickets to the F3T Fly Fishing Film Tour, which is $10 for Veterans, $12 for youths and $15 for adults.

Not only are there demonstrations from fly-tyers described as “the cream of the crop” by Fly Shop of the Bighorns owner Peter Widener, but there will also be the chance to try out the lineup from Clutch Flyrods with owner Lee Janik!

As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be a short film festival, the subject matter of which will be, of course, fly fishing. Rock Creek Anglers and Black Tooth Brewery are two local businesses who will be sponsoring this awesome event as well as Clutch Rods, MFC and Simms. So, if you like flies, rods and movies, the Fly Shop of the Bighorns Wyo Spring Tying Clave is the place for you!
