With great news from Bruce Garber on the Sheridan Airport, it looks like we’ll be able to jet back to Sheridan in no time! Take a look:
“Air Service Update – The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission approved Sheridan’s Application yesterday (8/18/15) to help fund the revenue guarantee. This was huge! Many thanks for everyone that helped this through the process. The jet service DBA Denver Air Connection will have the jet here for the airshow on August 29th for people to see it. We hope tickets can start to be purchased in September for mid to late November flights. Much more information will follow in the next month on how to book tickets, FAQ’s etc. Denver Air Connection will also be hiring people- be on the look out for their job fair on August 28th.”
Want more information on the service? The jet that will be servicing the Sheridan area is a 30 passenger Dornier jet. There will be a restroom on board and a flight attendant. The estimated flight time to Denver is 1 hour and 12 minutes. It will leave Sheridan early in the morning. There will be another mid-day flight to and from Denver. The plane will then return to Sheridan in the evening and over night here in Sheridan. (2 round trip flights per day.)
